Multiple Listing Service

The MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is a comprehensive information-sharing and cooperative marketing network created by REALTORS® several decades ago. While it is internet/computer based today, it began as an exchange of paper listing information sheets and photographs.

Listing agents enter the data about a home for sale and offer to cooperate with any agent who brings a buyer. Buyer’s agents search the data for homes to show their buyer clients.

Bob Taylor Properties, Inc. belongs to three overlapping MLS Boards:

• Glendale-Foothills I-Tech, which is the primary board for our home office location.
• TheMLS of Beverly Hills-Greater L.A.-Westside
• So-Cal MLS

And in addition, through the data sharing functions of MLS Alliance and CARETS (California Real Estate Technology Services), your property will also appear in CRISNet Regional MLS and Multi-Regional MLS.

Listing your home in all these participating MLSs gives your property maximum exposure to real estate agents throughout Southern California and their potential buyers.

But thousands of other homes also listed on the MLS.

We want your listing to stand out. We want to attract agents and buyers and grab their attention.

We’ will do that with plenty of photographs, descriptive text, and as much useful information as possible.

The information, description, and images of your property in the Multiple Listing Service may be our one chance to make an impression on an agent or buyer searching through available homes, so we try to leave nothing to chance.
